Meet Ana Graña

Welcome to Ana Graña - Sua Análise no Exterior. Discover the personal journey and professional expertise that drives our commitment to your emotional well-being.

A unique approach to psychoanalysis

What makes my support special is the combination of rigorous psychoanalytic technique and the sensitivity of someone who understands the "non-place" of the immigrant. My practice is based on deep listening, grounded in the concepts of Freud and Winnicott, but adapted to the needs of the contemporary and digital world.

The analysis is centered on words. Speaking your native language and sharing the same Brazilian cultural codes is essential for the unconscious to manifest freely, without translation barriers. I offer more than just theory; I provide a listening ear that understands the weight of distance, the emotional bureaucracy of adaptation, and saudade.

My own experience in Spain allows me to embrace your pain with a differentiated perspective. Just like in my "Café com Análise" project, I value an environment where words are free and judgment has no place. Here, "saying no" and rediscovering your limits is part of the healing process.

Who I help: overcoming challenges abroad

My primary focus is on welcoming Brazilians living abroad who seek to regain emotional balance amidst the complexities of life outside their home country. My listening is dedicated to those who feel that physical distance has amplified internal issues that previously seemed under control.

I help you overcome challenges such as:

  • Identity and belonging crises: The feeling of no longer belonging in Brazil, nor entirely in the country where you live.
  • Loneliness and immigrant isolation: The lack of a support network and the difficulty of expressing deep feelings in a foreign language.
  • Relationship conflicts: Challenges in family dynamics or with partners, especially in contexts of change.
  • Managing emotions: During career changes or grieving for cycles that end.
  • Difficulty in setting boundaries: Working on self-awareness to strengthen the art of saying no, allowing you to build a life with more autonomy and less emotional overload.

"Ana Graña created a space where I felt truly heard and understood. Her unique approach helped me navigate the complexities of living abroad with a new sense of peace."
